Using Rust, C, and C++, gsvelto implemented a daemonized crash helper, consolidating IPC logic and removing direct PID tracking to improve operational stability. The work included upgrading Linux MIDI SysEx handling and expanding symbol scraping infrastructure, addressing dependency management and system administration challenges. By focusing on error handling and process management, gsvelto delivered robust solutions that improved crash resilience, media input support, and symbolication coverage, demonstrating depth in system programming and cross-platform development.
