Worked on expanding platform support in the OpenVoxProject/puppet repository by implementing Ubuntu 25.04 compatibility for both amd64 and aarch64 architectures. This involved creating new platform configuration files, updating build defaults to ensure continuous integration and packaging processes included the latest Ubuntu release, and aligning repository locations for streamlined deployment. The work required expertise in build system integration and platform configuration, utilizing Ruby and YAML to manage configuration and automation. By broadening operating system coverage, the changes enabled customers to deploy Puppet on Ubuntu 25.04, supporting the project’s strategy of maintaining up-to-date platform support with minimal operational risk.
