Worked on the CMSgov/bcda-app repository to enhance code review governance by updating the CODEOWNERS file, aligning team ownership with recent organizational changes. Focused on repository management, the update ensured that pull requests are routed to the correct reviewers, improving accountability and reducing review bottlenecks. Leveraged Git and YAML to implement the changes, providing traceability through a documented commit for audit purposes. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as efforts centered on process improvement rather than feature development or debugging. The work delivered direct business value by clarifying code ownership and streamlining the review process for the team.
