Worked on enhancing localization for the jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repository by delivering a new Spanish (Mexico) translation for the Android TV exit label. Focused on improving user experience for Spanish-speaking audiences, the contribution involved updating XML resource files and utilizing Weblate to streamline the translation workflow. The work increased localization coverage to 95 percent, ensuring that 535 out of 563 strings were translated and ready for future updates. Leveraging skills in Android development and localization, the developer contributed a targeted feature that supports broader accessibility and prepares the project for ongoing internationalization efforts without introducing any bug fixes during the period.
