Worked on enhancing localization for the Jellyfin Android TV project by delivering comprehensive Japanese and German translations for all playback-related and user-facing strings. Utilized Weblate to manage and streamline the translation process, achieving full coverage for both languages and integrating the updates directly into the jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repository. Focused on improving accessibility and user experience through accurate internationalization, leveraging skills in Android development, i18n, and translation. Employed XML and plaintext formats to ensure consistency and maintainability across the codebase. The work strengthened the localization workflow, enabling more efficient updates and supporting broader accessibility for non-English-speaking users.
