Worked on the internetarchive/openlibrary repository to improve reliability and asset management by addressing inconsistencies in image resource loading. Focused on standardizing image paths throughout the site, consolidating them under the /static/images directory to establish a unified asset URL scheme. This targeted bug fix, implemented using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, enabled more predictable caching and simplified future updates to asset handling. The change was delivered as an isolated, low-risk patch with clear documentation, supporting maintainability and scalability. While no new features were added during this period, the work enhanced front end consistency and laid groundwork for improved web performance.
