Worked on enhancing BGP policy enforcement for Arista devices within the cprabha/featureprofiles repository, focusing on explicit route rejection for unmatched communities. Developed a new deviation in Go to ensure routes not matching specified communities are rejected, improving policy clarity and predictability in network deployments. Extended the test suite to cover unsupported community set match options, preventing silent policy fall-through and strengthening overall test coverage. Leveraged skills in BGP, Go programming, and networking to address configuration gaps and ensure robust policy behavior. The work reduced the risk of misrouting and contributed to more reliable and maintainable BGP policy implementations for Arista platforms.
