Worked on the OpenHands/OpenHands repository to enhance reliability and security in CI/CD workflows and cloud launch tooling. Addressed Docker image tagging by introducing workflow dependencies in GitHub Actions, ensuring images were fully built before retagging to prevent race conditions. Fixed a bug in MCP authentication by implementing a recursive merge strategy in Python and Pydantic, preserving secrets during settings updates and adding comprehensive unit tests for multiple authentication scenarios. Restored default tool resolution behavior for cloud launches by simplifying agent profile logic, removing unnecessary abstractions, and improving consistency in tool availability. Focused on backend development, refactoring, and robust deployment practices.
