In July 2025, JLD focused on configuration cleanup and bug resolution within the mozilla/gecko-dev repository, targeting outdated references to security.sandbox.content.headless and removing a legacy webgl.out-of-process test configuration. By refactoring C++, JavaScript, and Python code, JLD reduced the risk of misconfiguration and improved overall maintainability. The work involved careful assessment of cross-repository impacts and ensured that changes were clearly documented and traceable to Bug 1974363. This effort enhanced build and test stability, simplified onboarding for new contributors, and streamlined ongoing maintenance, demonstrating a strong grasp of build system configuration, code hygiene, and systematic testing practices.
