Worked on BiteSpeed-Dev/chatwoot to implement internationalization support for the WhatsApp list button, enabling the application to serve a broader user base. The approach involved updating the backend service to consume i18n keys, ensuring that button labels could be dynamically translated. English and Brazilian Portuguese translations were added using Ruby and YAML, reflecting a focus on both backend development and internationalization. Testing practices were enhanced by updating test cases to validate correct i18n key usage during payload generation. This work established a foundation for future localization efforts, improving usability for international teams and customers while maintaining robust code quality standards.
