Worked on modernizing API documentation for the BiteSpeed-Dev/chatwoot repository by upgrading the existing Swagger specification to OpenAPI 3.0.4. The project involved refactoring API definitions and paths in YAML to align with the updated standard, as well as enhancing request payload examples to provide clearer guidance for developers and API consumers. This effort focused on improving the clarity and usefulness of the documentation, making it easier for clients to integrate and reducing support overhead. The work was implemented in Ruby and YAML, leveraging skills in API documentation, OpenAPI, and refactoring, and was delivered as a consolidated, single commit.
