Worked on the factorialco/factorial-one repository to standardize and enhance the configurability of charting components using React and TypeScript. Focused on unifying chart properties across all chart types, the work introduced a single configuration for hiding tooltips and grids, and ensured the domain property is consistently passed to recharts for every chart component. This approach improved the consistency and maintainability of the charting layer, aligning the charting API with the broader design system to reduce UI variance. The changes aimed to simplify future development and reduce maintenance overhead, with no major bugs reported during the period and an emphasis on stability.
