Worked on the equinor/procosys-js-frontend repository, delivering two features focused on improving codebase hygiene and user experience. Addressed repository maintenance by updating the .gitignore file to exclude Visual Studio cache and temporary files, reducing the risk of accidental commits of build artifacts. Enhanced the Add Scope functionality by implementing more robust error handling, surfacing specific backend errors, and extending the duration of failure notifications to ensure users could read and act on them. Employed JavaScript, TypeScript, and React to simplify syntax and improve maintainability, ultimately reducing troubleshooting time and contributing to more reliable frontend releases without introducing new bugs.
