During November 2024, contributed to the jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repository by developing a feature that enables users to customize the seek forward length in the video player, enhancing playback configurability on Android TV. This work involved integrating a new UI preference setting, allowing users to adjust seek behavior according to their viewing habits. The implementation leveraged Android development skills, particularly in preference management and UI/UX development, using both Java and Kotlin. By updating the default skip forward and providing a user-configurable option, the feature improved playback control and user satisfaction, supporting a more flexible and engaging media consumption experience without introducing new bugs.
