Developed and integrated a new port of the Yubico PIV Tool within the microsoft/vcpkg repository, focusing on seamless compatibility with the vcpkg package manager. The work involved implementing targeted build system fixes and refining CMake configurations to ensure reliable compilation and cross-platform library linking. Installation processes were adjusted to streamline downstream integration, making it easier for developers to adopt and use the PIV tool in their workflows. Emphasizing build systems, CMake, and library management, the contribution improved packaging reliability and simplified onboarding for users, addressing common challenges in dependency management and multi-platform software distribution within the vcpkg ecosystem.
