Worked on enhancing the audio player interface in the google/horologist repository, focusing on UI robustness and layout improvements. Introduced an Unknown state to the VolumeUiState, enabling the application to gracefully handle indeterminate volume scenarios and reducing potential UI edge-case bugs. Refactored the player screen layout using Jetpack Compose and Kotlin, optimizing max-width usage and refining the display of titles and artists with improved padding and alignment. These updates improved reliability and readability across various devices, contributing to a smoother user experience. The work demonstrated attention to UI/UX design principles and effective use of Android development best practices.
