During October 2024, Martenxi delivered a focused UI refresh for the Player screen in the google/horologist repository, aligning the interface with updated UX guidelines. Using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, Martenxi adjusted margins and component sizes to reduce visual drift and ensure consistency with the design system. The work included updating screenshot test data to accurately reflect the new visual state, which strengthens quality assurance coverage for UI regressions. By emphasizing UI/UX design principles and maintaining strict adherence to design specifications, Martenxi’s contributions enable faster future UI iterations and help maintain a cohesive user experience across the Player screen and related components.
