Worked on enhancing the semantic markup and data structuring of Les_Caractères.xml within the UBS_M1_TEI repository, focusing on improving the document’s utility for advanced processing and cross-referencing. Applied TEI and XML skills to introduce XML IDs for authors and publishers, enabling more precise referencing throughout the text. Added inline annotations with contextual notes for selected words, incorporated new glyphs, and implemented version-aware remarks to support text variant tracking. Established a new class declaration for character categories and refactored citation structures, ensuring remarks are now organized by category. The work emphasized data quality and semantic richness without addressing bug fixes.
