Developed and delivered the Leaflet Maps Integration Library for the Leaflet/Leaflet repository, introducing a Java-based solution for embedding Leaflet maps within Vaadin and JavaFX applications. This work focused on framework integration, creating a cross-framework bridge that streamlines the process of adding geospatial features to Java web projects. By implementing the java-leaflet plugin, the developer reduced integration time and expanded the mapping capabilities available to Java developers. The approach emphasized maintainable code and extensibility, laying a foundation for future enhancements such as additional map layers and event handling. The project utilized Java, web development skills, and Markdown for documentation.
