Worked on stabilizing the QM_TRY_ANALYSIS tooling within the mozilla/gecko-dev repository by addressing a Bugzilla comment size issue that previously affected reporting reliability. The approach involved fixing Python scripts to handle comment size constraints, upgrading Rust and the rust-code-analysis-cli to benefit from recent fixes and performance enhancements, and refactoring configuration flags to better mirror production environments. Additional cleanup of Python files reduced maintenance overhead and potential sources of error. This work focused on bug fixing, CI/CD, and scripting, resulting in more stable automated analysis workflows and setting a foundation for future improvements in the project’s reporting infrastructure.
