Developed and integrated ESPHome Dashboard install and uninstall lifecycle management within the openhab/openhabian repository, focusing on streamlining user workflows for dashboard deployment and removal. Leveraging bash scripting, DevOps practices, and system administration expertise, the work introduced new menu options and a dedicated bash function to automate installation, uninstallation, service setup, and directory management. This approach reduced manual intervention and simplified maintenance for users managing ESPHome dashboards. The feature established a lifecycle-aware workflow, ensuring that deployment and removal processes are both user-friendly and robust, while laying a foundation for future enhancements in dashboard management within the openhabian environment.
