Over a two-month period, contributed core features to openhab/openhabian and matteocrippa/ProxmoxVE, focusing on infrastructure flexibility and deployment modernization. Delivered Zigbee Network Adapter support in openhabian, enabling network-based Zigbee coordination for Zigbee2MQTT by enhancing the setup script with network prompts and automated configuration, which improved scalability for distributed IoT environments. In ProxmoxVE, upgraded OpenHAB to Zulu JDK 21 and enhanced the setup process to provide both HTTP and HTTPS access, facilitating smoother transitions to newer Java runtimes. Work relied on Shell and bash scripting, leveraging DevOps and system administration skills to streamline deployment and configuration processes.
