Worked on improving error handling and stability in the trinodb/trino repository, specifically targeting Google Cloud Storage I/O operations. Addressed a bug in the trino-filesystem-gcs module by standardizing exception propagation, ensuring that StorageExceptions thrown by GcsOutputStream are now rethrown as IOExceptions. This change enhanced compatibility with existing Java I/O patterns and reduced the risk of downstream failures in cloud storage workflows. The solution focused on robust exception handling and file I/O, leveraging Java as the primary language.
