Worked on the equinor/radix-flux repository to deliver two targeted infrastructure enhancements focused on scalability and security. Addressed request handling by increasing the ingress-nginx proxy buffer size from 16k to 32k, enabling support for larger client requests and improving overall system robustness. Additionally, removed inline Docker authentication secrets from the radix-vulnerability-scanner Helm chart, reflecting a transition toward secretless or externalized authentication management and reducing operational risk. These changes were implemented using Helm and Kubernetes, with YAML as the primary configuration language, resulting in simplified secret management and more resilient deployment practices across the stack during the month-long engagement.
