Contributed a Catalan localization feature to the jellyfin/jellyfin repository, enabling the Jellyfin UI to be fully accessible for Catalan-speaking users. Focused on internationalization, the work involved integrating Catalan translations using a Weblate-based translation pipeline and managing contributions through Git. The approach established a reproducible workflow for sourcing and merging translations directly into the Jellyfin core, enhancing accessibility and supporting broader user adoption in Catalan-speaking regions. The project demonstrated skills in localization, open source contribution, and translation, with all development conducted in JavaScript. No bug fixes were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on expanding language support and maintainability.
