Worked on the Staffbase/gha-workflows repository over a two-month period, focusing on CI/CD reliability and documentation clarity. Addressed a critical compatibility issue in the Secret Scan CI workflow by reverting the job to Ubuntu 24.04, which restored stability and reduced failures across different environments. This solution was implemented using YAML and GitHub Actions, ensuring consistent secret scanning. Additionally, improved documentation for the Dependabot auto-merge feature by clarifying workflow steps and configuration requirements in Markdown, aligning guidance with repository standards. The work emphasized maintainability and onboarding, helping users configure automated dependency updates more effectively while reducing misconfigurations and ambiguity.
