Worked on the Staffbase/gha-workflows repository to enhance the GitOps workflow by introducing dynamic runner environment configuration. Implemented a runs-on input in the workflow template, defaulting to ubuntu-24.04, which allows flexible selection of execution environments for GitOps jobs. The update involved reorganizing YAML inputs for improved clarity and maintainability, ensuring all entries were alphabetically ordered and that important workflow comments were preserved. Leveraged CI/CD practices and GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes, reduce configuration errors, and facilitate faster onboarding for new contributors. No bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused and well-executed feature implementation.
