Worked on the sonic-net/sonic-buildimage repository to migrate the Docker Platform Monitor (PMON) container to the Trixie base image as part of the SONiC Bookworm to Trixie transition. This effort focused on updating Dockerfiles, Makefiles, and dependency management using Python and build automation skills. Addressed compatibility issues by refining package dependencies, such as renaming librrd8 to librrd8t64 and upgrading grpcio tools, while consolidating packaging to eliminate backports. The migration introduced no runtime changes to PMON daemons, instead improving maintainability and CI reliability. All updates were validated through continuous integration pipelines, ensuring readiness for future platform upgrades.
