Worked on enhancing reliability and security for the kubernetes-sigs/kueue repository by addressing critical scheduling and RBAC issues. Focused on backend development and DevOps, using Go and yaml to resolve edge cases in resource management. Improved scheduling logic by ensuring zero-valued resource requests are treated as MaxInt32, which led to more accurate resource calculations and added targeted tests to validate this behavior. Additionally, corrected RBAC role definitions by pluralizing resource names, ensuring permissions were properly enforced for topology operations. These changes stabilized core scheduling processes and expanded test coverage, reducing the risk of deployment issues in Kubernetes environments.
