Worked on the pagefaultgames/pokerogue-locales repository to deliver comprehensive Vietnamese localization improvements for PokéRogue, focusing on enhancing accessibility and user experience for Vietnamese-speaking players. The work involved translating and refining battle text, abilities, messages, game mechanics, berries, and status effects using JSON, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and consistency. Leveraged Pontoon localization tooling and coordinated closely with other contributors to consolidate updates and maintain translation quality. Demonstrated skills in game development, internationalization, and translation, aligning the localization efforts with the broader product roadmap. The contributions expanded the game’s reach and ensured precise, context-aware translations for the target audience.
