Rhamoui developed the Trending Searches Feature - Variant A for the mozilla/gecko-dev repository, focusing on enhancing the search experience by surfacing trending search suggestions. Using React and Redux with JavaScript and SCSS, Rhamoui created a modular component, TrendingSearchesVarA.jsx, and integrated it into the existing Search flow. The feature introduced an interactive expand and collapse interface, enabling users to quickly discover relevant queries and supporting future A/B testing. The implementation emphasized maintainable architecture and scalability, with code reviewed and approved by multiple stakeholders.
