Worked on the google/perfetto repository to address data integrity in power metrics by implementing Power Counter Positive Value Normalization. This targeted bug fix ensured that all power counter values are non-negative, aligning Perfetto’s reporting with other analytics sources and improving the reliability of downstream performance analysis. The solution was delivered as a focused, low-risk change in a single commit, minimizing potential impact while enhancing consistency across performance dashboards. Leveraged expertise in data processing, embedded systems, and performance analysis, utilizing C++ and Python to reinforce the accuracy of power-related traces and support more dependable cross-system performance comparisons for users.
