Worked on the SuperGoodSoft/solidus repository to deliver Rails 8 compatibility and improve CI stability. Focused on updating version constraints and refining the test suite to ensure Rails 8 was exercised in continuous integration workflows. Adjusted API specs to match new error behaviors introduced by Rails 8, and aligned the development environment with CI by updating sqlite dependencies in the Gemfile. This approach reduced upgrade risk and improved test parity across environments, supporting a smoother transition for users. The work relied on Ruby, YAML, and CI/CD practices, emphasizing gem management and robust testing for future Rails upgrades.
