Contributed to the microsoft/vcpkg repository by developing and upgrading core library ports over a two-month period. Built a new Vcpkg Linux port for lely-core, configuring CMake-based builds, managing dependencies, and excluding non-essential components to streamline installation and ensure compliance with distribution standards. Later, upgraded the RealSense2 SDK to version 2.56.5, applying targeted patches to enhance functionality and maintain compatibility across multiple build configurations. The work demonstrated proficiency in C++ development, build systems, and package management, focusing on maintainable, cross-platform solutions that improve library integration and installation workflows for users of the vcpkg package management ecosystem.
