Worked on the jellyfin/jellyfin repository to deliver a full Latvian localization feature, adding comprehensive Latvian translations to both the user interface and core application strings. Utilized JavaScript and the Weblate translation platform to source and integrate translations, establishing a repeatable workflow for ongoing and future localization efforts. Focused on improving accessibility and user experience for Latvian-speaking users, thereby expanding the software’s reach within Latvia and Latvian-speaking communities. Validated the integration through build and QA checks to ensure stable releases. The work emphasized localization, open source contribution, and translation, prioritizing feature delivery and reliability over bug fixes during this period.
