Worked on the nammayatri repository to deliver the ONDC v2.1.0 migration, enabling dual-version support and backward compatibility across Beckn-spec and both platform ACLs. Focused on foundational migration tasks, including comprehensive data-model updates and integration of new fields such as item category IDs, vehicle energy types, and cancellation terms. Leveraged Haskell for backend development and API design, expanding the test suite to 248 cases with zero failures to ensure robust cross-version compatibility. This work improved interoperability and reduced migration risk, demonstrating a methodical approach to systems migration, test-driven development, and collaborative software architecture within a complex ecosystem.
March 2026: Completed the ONDC v2.1.0 migration for nammayatri with backward compatibility across Beckn-spec and both platform ACLs, delivering dual-version support during the transition. Implemented foundational migration work (migration foundation, propagation, features, and tests) and updated the Beckn spec library and platform integrations to support v2.1.0 while remaining compatible with v2.0.0. Key scope included comprehensive data-model updates (Types.hs, Enums.hs, Tags.hs, Context.hs), provider (BPP) and rider (BAP) platform changes, and new fields/codes such as item category IDs, vehicle energyType, cancellation terms, and updated buyer/seller flow handling. The work also involved test suite expansion and verification across cross-version payloads. Test suite summary: 248 tests with 0 failures (TypesSpec, EnumsSpec, TagsSpec, UtilsSpec), demonstrating robust cross-version round-trips, tagging logic, and compatibility checks. Overall impact: end-to-end readiness for ONDC v2.1.0, improved interoperability, and reduced migration risk for ecosystem adoption. Demonstrated strong capabilities in systems migration, test-driven development, and cross-team collaboration.
