Sergiy Nechuiviter contributed to the TriliumNext/Trilium repository by advancing Ukrainian language localization for the website, achieving 86.8% translation coverage of user-facing strings. He utilized JSON for managing translation data and integrated Weblate to streamline the localization workflow, enabling efficient updates and clear version control through Git. His work focused on internationalization and frontend string localization, directly improving accessibility for Ukrainian-speaking users and supporting future growth of the user base. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, Sergiy’s efforts established a repeatable process for ongoing localization, laying a solid foundation for full Ukrainian language support in the project.
