Worked on enhancing the reliability of Arista telemetry tests in the cprabha/featureprofiles repository by introducing targeted improvements to the test framework. Addressed vendor-specific behavior by implementing a deviation for subinterface 0, allowing unsupported state telemetry to be handled gracefully without triggering false failures. Refined timeout expectations for LAG operations to better reflect Arista’s operational status during link failures, which stabilized the telemetry_interface_last_change_test and reduced test flakiness. Leveraged Go, network programming, and testing frameworks to align test logic with real device behavior, ultimately improving the CI feedback loop and accelerating validation of network telemetry for Arista devices.
