During the month, contributed a new Luau language port and packaging integration to the microsoft/vcpkg repository, enabling Luau to be built and installed through the vcpkg package manager. This work involved developing CMake configuration files and applying targeted patches to ensure reliable builds and compatibility with downstream projects. Leveraging skills in C++ development, build systems, and package management, the integration allows projects that depend on vcpkg to seamlessly adopt Luau as a dependency. The approach focused on maintainable build processes and straightforward installation, addressing the needs of developers seeking robust dependency management for Luau-enabled applications within the vcpkg ecosystem.
