Worked on the thingsboard-edge repository to streamline Docker-based deployments and enhance caching infrastructure. Simplified the Docker deployment process by removing unsupported queue providers, updating configuration files, and refining error messages to reflect only Kafka and Confluent as supported options. Led the migration from Redis to Valkey for project-wide caching, updating all relevant Docker files, environment variables, and configuration settings to support the new cache version. Addressed a configuration issue by correcting the TB_VERSION variable to ensure the latest ThingsBoard component is used in Docker environments. Demonstrated skills in configuration management, DevOps practices, and Shell scripting throughout the work.
