Worked on enhancing the flybywiresim/aircraft repository by addressing a critical issue affecting the Navigation Display’s track line visibility in GA TRK, RWY TRK, and RWY lateral modes. Focused on front-end development using React and TypeScript, the solution involved a targeted patch that restored consistent visual cues for pilots, thereby improving situational awareness and navigational guidance. The approach emphasized minimal changes to the codebase, ensuring that performance and compatibility with existing Navigation Display modes were maintained. Validation steps included thorough checks of track line rendering across all relevant modes, resulting in a stable and reliable update without introducing regressions.
