During September 2025, Thees upgraded the Alpine Toolkit image to version 0.2.0 across the subshell/helm-charts repository, ensuring all Sophora components benefit from an updated curl version. This work involved updating Chart.yaml and values.yaml files using YAML, with changes committed under a single traceable commit for clarity. Leveraging skills in CI/CD, Helm, and Kubernetes, Thees improved deployment reliability and runtime tooling compatibility, addressing evolving requirements for containerized environments. The approach established a clear, documented path for future image updates within the Helm charts, demonstrating a methodical and maintainable process for managing dependencies in a production-grade Kubernetes deployment pipeline.
