Contributed Danish localization to the jellyfin/jellyfin repository, enabling the user interface to support Danish language and broadening accessibility for Danish-speaking users. Leveraged translation skills and integrated Weblate to deliver accurate Danish translations, ensuring direct traceability to original strings and establishing a scalable internationalization workflow. Focused on localization and translation, the work laid the foundation for future multilingual support with minimal engineering overhead. No bugs were reported within this scope, reflecting careful implementation. The addition of Danish language support improved onboarding for new users and positioned the project for easier expansion to additional locales, enhancing the product’s inclusivity and reach.
