Worked on the Leaflet/Leaflet repository to refactor the Circle and CircleMarker classes, focusing on reducing code duplication and improving maintainability. Applied JavaScript and front end development skills to streamline the codebase, making it easier to manage and extend. Introduced validation tests for the radius property, ensuring that set and get operations behave correctly and that rendering remains reliable. Expanded test coverage around radius-related functionality, which helps prevent regressions in user interface behavior. Collaborated closely with another contributor during the refactor, emphasizing code quality and correctness. The work enhanced the reliability and future safety of the Leaflet mapping library.
