During May 2025, Whitehotaru focused on enhancing the German localization of the YunoHost Core repository, contributing directly to improved accessibility for German-speaking users. Working within the YunoHost/yunohost codebase, Whitehotaru utilized Python and internationalization best practices to update and refine 713 out of 876 translation strings via Weblate. This effort involved applying two translation commits that advanced the overall translation progress to 81.3 percent, reducing the localization backlog and improving the user interface for non-English users. The work demonstrated a targeted approach to internationalization, emphasizing translation accuracy and user experience, though it was limited in scope to a single feature.
