Worked on the Max-Eee/E-commerce-recommender repository to enhance the stability of the checkout flow by focusing on targeted code cleanup within the Discount Code component. Addressed a bug by removing unused imports and variables related to promotion forms and error handling, which reduced unnecessary dependencies and minimized the risk of errors during checkout. This effort streamlined the discount handling logic, making the codebase easier to maintain and less prone to regression. Utilized front-end development skills with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript to ensure the checkout process remained robust while simplifying the underlying implementation for future development and maintenance needs.
