Worked on the jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repository to deliver Hungarian localization for the Android TV Settings, focusing on enhancing accessibility for Hungarian-speaking users. Utilized XML for string externalization and leveraged the Weblate translation workflow to achieve 94.4% coverage, translating 558 out of 591 strings. The approach emphasized maintainable internationalization and streamlined future language contributions by integrating collaborative translation practices. No major bugs were reported or fixed during this period, allowing concentrated effort on feature delivery. This work expanded the app’s usability in Hungary and laid the foundation for broader language support, demonstrating skills in Android development, localization, and translation management.
