Worked on the persian-calendar/persian-calendar repository to deliver Russian localization, achieving 94.4% translation coverage for user-facing strings. Focused on updating strings.xml to enhance accessibility for Russian-speaking users, ensuring that the application could reach a broader audience. Established and validated a translation workflow using Weblate, which streamlined the process for future localization updates and quality assurance. The work centered on internationalization rather than bug fixes, laying the groundwork for improved global usability. Utilized Android development skills and XML to manage and implement translations, with an emphasis on maintainable workflows and accurate language support for the application’s expanding user base.
