Worked on the usdot-fhwa-stol/carma-config repository to stabilize and enhance the ROS deployment environment, focusing on configuration management for Docker-based workflows. Leveraged YAML and Docker to standardize image tags across ROS distributions, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments. Addressed initialization issues by correcting ROS setup sourcing paths and introduced environment variable-driven configuration through improved docker-compose formatting. Removed outdated ROS Humble tags to align with the current distribution strategy, reducing the risk of deployment drift. Updated inline documentation and performed minor refactoring to improve maintainability, resulting in a more scalable and reliable CI/CD pipeline for ongoing DevOps operations.
