Worked on optimizing CI infrastructure for the DataDog/dd-trace-rb repository by migrating continuous integration configurations to utilize new runner tags. This effort focused on enhancing compatibility with upcoming runner updates and reducing maintenance overhead across CI pipelines. The technical approach involved updating YAML configuration files to align with the latest runner tag schema, which improved pipeline stability and reduced flaky builds. Leveraging skills in CI/CD, DevOps, and YAML, the work standardized runner configurations, making the CI process more maintainable and robust. No bugs were addressed during this period, with the primary contribution centered on delivering the CI Runner Tags Migration feature.
